What is a SOLhelp Solidarity Circle?
A SOLhelp Solidarity Circle is a small group of people working together to discuss, strategically plan, and collectively implement solutions to everyday problems. Solidarity Circles are effective at a personal, local, regional, and national level. They can be transient or long-lived groupings. They can be formed for single-issue or multiple-issue action.
Solidarity Circles use the distributed democracy principles of Sociocracy. Because Sociocracy is inherently scalable, Solidarity Circles can be used for larger problems. How? For problems that are complex or those that are distributed over a larger area, multiple Solidarity Circles can successfully work together on finding and implementing solutions.
Almost any problems can be solved using Solidarity Circles. Some problems may require copious amounts of advocacy and drawn-out litigation while others can be solved within hours! Furthermore, solvable problems fall into a plethora of categories — from personal issues to community issues to fighting against tyranny at a national scale.
